Throughout this country and the world, women and men alike are disturbed by rights being stripped from women, femicides across the globe, and commonplace misogynistic remarks made by powerful men daily. This work not only addresses the current political state of womanhood as it intersects with my black identity, but also uses color, texture, and materiality to encourage and embolden other women and men to stand up for what's right in the face of injustices.
